January 28th, 2012Some “Bling” for our Garwood
January 14th, 2012Stephanie won a package of chrome for our Garwood Ensign on eBay.

We got all these pieces and best of all…
Our Garwood has screw holes for all the new parts…

Correct part? …our boat has screw holes for new one…
Below: an Ensign at AntiqueBoatAmerica.com has the bow chrome and aft vent. It’s listed as number 20 of 650 or so built…

It may also be noted that its panel of gauges is similar to ours…
Finally pulled the dock
December 13th, 2011Our riviera’s year is over
November 12th, 2011Uncovered our Chris-Craft this afternoon…
Took the trailer to Independence and backed the trailer in along the center concrete divider. (All the docks are out…) HillyBilly gave me a ride home.
Me, Lizzy, and Sam pushed off at 2:15pm and ran down to the dam arriving at 2:50pm. HillyBilly was at the dam to help hook up our Rivi. We were loaded and home a little after 3pm…
A new addition has arrived…

October 12th, 201110/6/2011
October 6th, 2011Chuck, our neighbor came over for a ride while Steph visited his wife, Sheri and some of their kids. Mike, Chuck, and the dogs left the dock at 6:15pm. Still lots of debris, mostly smaller stuff. Not very many animals at all; saw only a few heron and a couple of egrets. Saw 4 other boats out – 2 just riding around and 2 fishing but no one familiar. On the way back as it got dark we ran up over a 40+ foot tree, had to push it out the side with the paddle. Got back to the dock at 8:00pm.
