We headed down to the dock at 11 am this morning to pull the dock. While Mike got the dock unhooked and untided, I took the puppies on the pontoon the Gortes and breaking the path up again. After quite a lot of work, the dock was ready to go. Mike and the boys all piled on the pontoon pulling the dock. Lizzy and I watched as we sat by the fire until they were out of site. He had quite the hull, he would have to leave the dock and go ahead to break through the ice then go back and get the dock. Lizzy and I watched from the car at certain spots to make sure everything was ok. We met them at Pontiac park, no docks. I tried backing the trailer in but no such luck. I had to wait for Mike to come and break up the ice just to back in the trailer. We finally got the pontoon on the trailer and pulled the boat and the dock at the same time. It took 2.5 hours to get the dock down the river. All is put away til spring!
